MSNBC UMNYANGO Nicole Wallace said on Monday that she does not believe that the Democrat compared President Donald Trump to the German dictator Adolf Hitler.
When snow continued to transplant immigrants to major US cities, Pritzker clearly compared their actions to those forced by the Nazis during World War II. Pritzker, who is Jewish, insisted that he does not make such comparisons lightly.
In an interview with Wallace’s “Best People,” podcast, he mentioned his involvement in Holocaust relief. He explained that while he did not believe that such a horrific event could repeat itself in America, those who endured it could see echoes of authoritarianism that emerged under Trump’s leadership.
Wallace bought that Trump to Hitler is nothing, “remembering the partial analysis,” remembering that the Phrice President of JD vence once doubted whether Trump could be “what Trump.” He praised Pritzker for presenting a thoughtful argument about the historical parallels between Trump’s America and Nazi Germany.

“You put the art form behind the commonality that includes all of us, and you talk about it – the first thing you say is that it shows the passports, the people who are asked are seen in a different way, they think they are ‘thinking about me.’ You know, I’m a citizen. But who are they following next? ” he asked. “Talk a little bit about why that’s uncomfortable for so many people.”
Pritzker pushed back somewhat, drawing a different line between drawing a historical parallel and comparing Trump directly to Hitler. “I’m not suggesting, I’ve never suggested Donald Trump is Hitler,” Pritzker said.

However, history shows that many prominent Democrats, and Wallace himself, have drawn parallels between Trump and Hitler.

Former Democratic presidential hopeful O’Rourke compared Trump to Hitler in 2019, essentially arguing that Trump’s rhetoric about Mexico is similar to Nazi Germany. In 2023, he argued that Trump, like Hitler, simply being elected does not make a person a dictator.
