Erin Mulphy’s Viral Makeup-Free Selfie Battles Social Media Devices

Erin Murphy never intended to be a makeup-free face or without a facelift, but she felt that it was important to send a recent selfie without people who are birds and remind people: “If you’re going to write something, write something good.”
“I think it was important because I’m a mother, and I’m a grandmother, and everyone is on social media, and I think people often lead with something bad,” said Cabelitha in the 1960s Tomcom “shared.
Murphy said she posted a picture of her twin sister and some people made negative comments that hurt her sister’s feelings, and “comments about me that weren’t meant to be compliments, but they weren’t.”
He said people said the only reason he looked good was because he had a few problems.

“So that’s why I put it there,” he explained in his post where he wrote in part: “This is 61 … without facelift, without makeup.”
Murphy told FOX News Digital: “You couldn’t say anything other than, you know, if you’re going to write something, write something good.”
He said he didn’t want to be ‘faceless’. I don’t want to shout out anyone who had a facelift. So it’s something that kind of takes on a life of its own, there [people say] ‘Erin is all natural and Erin will never get a facelift.’ “
While he said he didn’t think he would get a facelift, he wouldn’t rule it out.

“There are no words that everyone does,” he emphasized. “What I’m trying to say is that people can do whatever they want to do, and people should feel good about themselves, and no one should have strangers trashing them online.”
He added, “So, it was very kind to the bullies and using social media in the right way, and I got that out of there.”

Murphy joked that she loves makeup, “which is funny because now I’m the other face of makeup.”

He went on to say, “I’ve been wrapped up, obviously, since I was a kid and I saw how it could change the structure of a show.”

“So, I wash my face with jojoba oil, which you can get – I get mine at Trader Joe’s – but you can get it anywhere.

He’s not big on doing anything really. “A lot, you know, like high-end stuff. I use good skincare,” she said.
Murphy uses retin-a about once a month because “it does good things for your skin … and, I drink more water than that, which makes a big difference.”
Speaking of makeup, with interest, interestingly, she was hired on “the list” because she looked like its TV character Elizabeth Momntthary, the owner of the building of many years.

“She wasn’t someone who wore a lot of makeup like outside of the show,” Murphy explained. “People always say, ‘Well, you look like Elizabeth Montgomery.’ I look more like Samantha than Elizabeth Montgomery, if that makes sense, because they prevented me from looking like her character. “
He continued, “She didn’t look much like Samantha off-screen. Does that make sense? Like other people – I wear makeup in the store.”
Right now, she said her hair is “probably the lightest hair a woman can have,” and she hasn’t had it cut in a year and a half.

“Sometimes I like to have goals set myself and I get highlights twice a year,” he added.
A mother of six and a grandmother, Murphy said her exercise routine has been “being an active person.”

“I’m very involved in the lives of the species,” she said, adding that she likes to take them to the zoo.
Living on the beach, he said he doesn’t go to the gym, but he wakes up every morning to relax and do a little yoga.

“Maybe 10 minutes of stretching and bending,” she said. “And I just work. I don’t know, I like to be outside … I think if you get out and go – at least, for me, works.”
With the holidays coming up, Murphy said he eats “everything.”

“I think one of the biggest mistakes you make when you eat is to limit yourself to one type of food or this difficult,” she said. “I’m a big believer in moderation and everyone can have cake. You can’t just have the whole cake … I eat whatever I want in moderation.”
He continued: “This is one of the first years I don’t do Thanksgiving myself,” he continues. “I’ve spent, I don’t know, I don’t know, 30 plus years doing Thanksgiving and I love all the food myself. So, I like to allow changes, as your children grow, allowing them to do their own thing.”

His Christmas Christmas tradition is to give up holiday pajamas that his loved ones can’t wear on Christmas morning.
“I like spending time with family, friends, and kind of exploring new cultures,” he added.
