Matthew initially refuses to tell his wife and daughter what is going on, although he eventually reveals that he is struggling.

After denying the change he would have to make to accommodate his health issues, Matthew chose to return to his family. He admitted that he couldn’t face his battles without his loved ones by his side.

“The act of rescue is sometimes associated with things like bravery and bravery. But for people like me, I’ve always looked at it as an act of caring,” says Eric’s character in an emotional voice. “I guess I’ve never seen myself as someone who needs to be taken care of.”

Matthew noted that he needed to change his view.

“But I know now that even on my hardest days and the hardest days of all, you and your mother will save me from many fires that may come. “Sometimes the most heroic thing you can do is run from a burning building. It’s quiet, it’s small but in a heavy way – at least for me.”

Dane remembers when he first noticed the symptoms of the disease causing muscle control while affecting nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord.

“I started experiencing some weakness on my right side. And I didn’t really think anything of it at the time, I thought maybe I’d been texting a lot and my hand was really tired,” explained my hand Hello America in June. “A few weeks later, I realized it was worse. I went and saw a hand specialist, who sent me to another neurologist, and he said, ‘This is way above me.'”
