Dozens of Kings’ demonstrations will be held across Los Angeles County

Building on the “With the King” protests in June, organizations across the United States, including those in Southern California, are regrouping and marching on Saturday to protest the Trump administration.

On June 14, more than 50 million people in all 50 states joined in another massive one-day protest against the “President of Authoritarianism,” according to Studio City Rising, a local event organizer.

The latest “Norses” gatherings will take place in many areas of Los Angeles County.

“Our community is coming together in peace to push back against President Trump’s actions,” Studio City said in a statement. “We stand with our neighbors and citizens from across our city to share a simple, resolved message: we do not make dictators or kings in America.”

The national event is supported by groups that include the American Civil Libries Union, the American Federation of Teachers, the Protection of Human Rights, the National Campaign, the National Nurses United, Public Curicianing United, Publicizen and the Service Services International Union.

An interactive map of “No Mis” events in the US can be found online.
