Cuomo warns socialism ‘could be the ‘death of New York’ in NYC Mayor Race

A lawyer for New York City Mayor Andrew Cuome warned voters against socialism, saying such policies would mark “the death of New York.” Cuomo argued the Socialist movement was driving businesses out of town and threatening public safety.

“It’s going to be the execution of New York as we know it whether you’re a Democrat or a Republican,” Cuomo said on “Saturday America.”

Throughout the race, Cuomo is determined as a way to oppose pro-women policies. He vowed to restore public safety and rebuild trust and business.

“New York was shocked [businesses] to Florida. This social democratic coalition – this did not just start. This has been growing for years. And there’s always been a lot of energy in New York City,” Cuomo said of the latest business Exodus.

He pointed to what he called “hostility” in the business, pointing out the canceled Amazon headquarters project that “social workers were suspended,” which he argued, “which he argued would have brought 25,000 jobs.”

“We need business. Business is the engine that drives the train. This is New York. We are the capital of the nation,” Cuomo said.

“We want entrepreneurs. We want talent. We want you to bring your business here. That’s growth. That’s growth.”

Cuomo also criticized what he called an “anti-leftist” agenda, saying it has led to increased crime and fewer officers on the streets.

“We have the lowest level of police in today’s political landscape because this social reform of the morning is demoralizing the police,” Cuomo said, promising to add 5,000 officers if elected.

To appeal to Republican and moderate voters, Cuomo emphasized that his campaign is to “save” New York City from the bottom of the heart.

“Back to the Republicans, I’m saying, YOU CAN HAVE TENENTERS. We’re all New Yorkers, and this is about the future of New York and saving the city of New York,” he said.
