Chris Paul’s wife Jada has sent an emotional message after his retirement

After the NBA Star announced his retirement from basketball on Saturday, November 21, tying a bow with a beloved career of 21 years, Jada was quick to send a congratulatory message for his high-profile lover.

Jada, a fashion designer and entrepreneur, retweeted Chris’s Retirement Secliement Video on her Instagram story, posting a supportive message along with it.

“Helluva career! Helluva Ride! I’m so proud of you,” Jada said on her Instagram story.

Jada and Chris met when Chris was a junior in high school and Jada was 3.

Jada explained in a 2014 interview with xonecole that a mutual friend placed them. The two graduated high school and attended Wake Forest University together before Chris was drafted into the NBA in 2005 after his sophomore year of college.

“We met in high school. I’m older than him, so in high school it wasn’t fun being married to Junior,” said Jada in an interview xonecole In 2014.

The couple lived together throughout college and tied the knot in September 2011 in North Carolina. Chris was already in the seventh year of his NBA career at the time.

Other NBA stars attended the wedding as well, including LeBron James and Dwayne Wade. He’s a comedian Kevin Hart and was at the Star-Studded Desemony event.

Soon after being drafted in the first round of the NBA Draft, Chris made his presence felt in the league. He received the Rookie of the Year Award after his first season with New Orleans (now the Pelicans).

He spent the first six seasons of his career in New Orleans before being traded to the Los Angeles Clippers, where he remained for the next seven years.

He was traded to the Houston Rockets in 2017, then to the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2019. In 2020, he joined the Phoenix Suns.

The 12-time NBA all-star has drawn several teams in recent years, signing back with the Clippers this summer to finish his career.

Often considered one of the greatest scorers of all time, he led the NBA in assists five times in his career and led the league in steals a record six times. He also won two Olympic gold medals with the USA team.
