Former MSNNBC PAPER Chris Matthews pointed to the Democrats’ history of “snobbery and attitude” as a reason why working people voted for President Donald Trump during Wednesday’s debate.
MSNBC caught up with Katy Tur to ask Matthew about how the Democratic Party should bridge the gap between working class and college educated voters.
“I don’t know the whole answer. [Pennsylvania Gov.] Josh Shapiro said, ‘Okay, we’re going to block this a little bit. We will remove the rule that you have to be a certain college area to get a job in the State government. “Pennsylvania no longer has that law,” Maths said.
“Aren’t they college magazines. And I think there’s a lot to that. The town vs. the gown is political nonsense. Why? Because it’s snobbery and attitude,” she said.

Chris Matthews says Democrats are ‘falling into the trap of protecting the invisible’ about crime
Pennsylvania gov. Josh Shapiro issued the executive order in 2023 after taking office to establish that 92% of federal government jobs will no longer require a college degree, according to CBS News.
Matthews has been criticizing the Democratic Party during President Donald Trump’s Victory, calling the optimists to focus on the economy.
While discussing the low popularity of the Democratic Party on MSNBC’s “Morning” in August, Matthews pointed to the mishandling of the illegal feed bid for the cause, saying, “The polls will tell you, it seemed like an open border for four years.
“Today, the border has been closed since January and not the painter of any Hispanic leader. No one has complained because they know that it kills the Democrats,” he said.
