“Jasmine Crockett is basically saying that Democrats are going to lean on her,” Charlaladne said on the “Hot & Concerned” podcast. “Because you are a good messenger. And some people got it. Some people have a different anointing in them. You don’t know why some people make people look up to them.”

Chartalanne gave the example of Crockett calling Trump and his racial administration, “saying that he began to deal with the issue of how the administration does not care about the dissenfranchied.

“I’m like, yo, you need someone like Jasmine Crockett. She’s the most effective Speaker the Democratic Party has,” Chartalanne said. “And they need to use him as a Trojan horse. And you know what? I hate how the Democrats are treating Jasmine Crockett.

Charlalagne has been critical of the democratic party, especially for its handling of recent governments.

However, he has also shown support for other democratic candidates, such as New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani.

“I want to say that Mamdani is good because he gives the same messages that any politician can win with,” said Charlaladne. “I don’t care what your race is. I don’t care what your gender is. I don’t care what your gender is. You want what money you want in this country in your pocket and you want to be able to feel safe.”

He continued, “And that’s what he’s all about. Reaching out and making people feel safe. But I know that if you can get people to believe in those things, you’re going to be successful.”
