The holiday season has a way of humbling even the most well-prepared hostels – and celebrities are no different.
Between Martha Stewart, Guy Fieri and Chrissy Teigen mishaps, Balddwin family photo messes, and emergency room visits, these celebrity Thanksgiving moments show that even the stars can’t escape holiday mayhem.
Here’s a look at some famous festivals that didn’t quite go as planned.

Guy Fieri’s vacation didn’t go as planned one year when he tried to deep-fry a Thanksgiving turkey.
Fieri told FOX News Digital about the moment he decided to join the deep-fried rearkey craze. “One of my favorites was when the Fried Turkey Craze started,” says Santo Tequila Co-Worker.
Fieri noted that he learned the technique from “a guy named Kim Gardner,” who showed him how to make his first fried bird. It turned out so well that he wanted to make another family of his own. But instead of balancing the fat properly, everything is released.
“Like all the videos you see on Tiktok, it’s a fire of flames,” he said.

The pot was spilled, and the cheap burner, sent the oil flaming all over his patio and yard. “My Flip-Flop melted to the ground. So I got one flip-flop on one flip-flop off,” he added.
At that moment, the turkey was shot in the pot and knocked down by the grass. Fieri ran after it. “They caught the turkey, now it’s kind of leaves and stuff, and I grabbed the hose, and led the turkey.”
The reaction from inside the house was swift. “There’s no way in hell I’m eating that turkey,” he recalls.

In a 2017 interview with the Daily Mail, Stewart said she wanted to impress her new family and devoted herself to hosting. He got up at 3 am to put the turkey in the oven, then went back to sleep.
That’s when things went up in smoke. “He told me he left the oven at 500 degrees, then forgot to turn it down to 325,” she said. “I woke up smoking and fanning the flames.”

Stewart was rushed to a nearby farm, grabbed the last turkey they had, and even reduced the stuffing to the burnt bird. Dinner was at the end of six hours but it was saved.
So, Stewart has come a long way, sharing a photo on Instagram on December 2, 2023, showing Turkish treasures crumbling with the discovery of a friend’s buffet.

She posted a photo of the baked dessert on Instagram with the caption, “in case you’re wondering why I didn’t post my finished pie on my stastory.”
Teigen quickly baked a second pie and teased it.

Alec and Hilaria Baldwin’s picture was anything but picture-perfect.
In 2022, the couple attempted to capture family portraits of their seven children. The result was pure chaos.
“A beautiful day of thanksgiving from Epic Fail Fail Family Photo to what’s possible for you,” Hilariani said in her caption.
In the photo, the Baldwin children cried, ate, and looked everywhere but the camera. Fans praised the mother of seven for keeping things real.

Thanksgiving 2024 took an unexpected turn for “Today’s Family” stars Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Julie Bowen, both ended up in Er with their children.
The Bowens, Mom to Oliver, 18, and twins John and Gustav, 16, posted a picture of the hospital, “it’s not a vacation without a trip to the ER.”

Caroline Bryan went over the full credit of the photo and showed what the tourist really looks like.

To spoil the clip, “I hate cooking. I quit. I spilled the miracle all over the place! And I think my turkey weighs five pounds.”

On the other side of the holiday frenzy, there are dysfunctional ward jobs — just ask Cardi B.
In 2022, the Wlammy Winner wrote on Twitter, now, “Note that my dress is very visible before the family arrives before the family arrives … God is good!”
His friend and Fowasi Derrian “Phrishy” later posted a photo of the two on the channel. Cardi had added a bra underneath her black Chanel dress in an attempt to avoid a major wardrobe malfunction.

On her podcast “Call it what it is” by Jessica Capshaw, Luddington said she decided to skip her usual cooked bird from Whole Foods and stuffed her own.
The British actor said: “I didn’t grow up with this. “So I just got all the culture that it involves.”
That same year, the turkey took about 12 hours to cook, and things went downhill from there. He admitted: “I gave food poisoning to everyone who had turkey. “People were throwing up that night.”
