Tony dokoupil he forced himself to think of an astronaut Buzz Aldrin he had died while arguing with the moon that came with him CBS Morning coanchors.
During Friday, October 31, Episode of CBS MorningDokoupil, 44, Nate burson and Gayle king they were talking Kim KardashianControversial comments about the arrival of the moon, leading to a heated debate between journalists.
“We’re talking five decades or decades,” Burlason said, offering a defense of Kardashian’s opinion. “Now, I get it. NASA has said in the past that either it’s too expensive or the hype has died or priorities have moved the US away from our plans to go to the moon. But still, we haven’t gone back.”
Burlanon added that he “didn’t say” that Kardashian was “right” but that “her charges are right.”
“We did it with less technology than a burning phone, with computers the size of refrigerators and without GPs,” he continued. “You’re telling me we lost the wifi password in a month? We’re not going to get there?”
In an attempt to remove Rubink Burleson’s words, Dokoupil made a gaffe with Aldrin, 95, who was part of the 1969 Apollo Space Mission.
“Nate, it’s Halloween. Skeletons are going to come out of the ground and get on your face,” DOKousil said.
Moments later, DOKousil realizes the error of his ways and is unsure if Aldrin is actually dead.
“I want to make sure that Buzz Aldrin is actually dead. I’m a lost cause of it,” he said, asking the producers to clarify. “Tell me now if it’s not, because I want to clear this up.”
DOKoupil also explained his joke because Aldrin “used to punch people in the mouth who doubted the arrival of the moon.”
Burlon explained that he wasn’t trying to fan the “flames of the Conspiracy theory” but that he thought it was okay for people to question them. DOKoupil then gave us a lovely talk about the history of the space race.
“We were very motivated. We were in a competition with the Soviet Union and we thought we were going to go up there and we built nuclear weapons on our heads,” recalled the historic event. “We feared for our lives and spent a large part of our national wealth on this. It’s like every student trying to be the best scientist to work on a problem.”
Berelon then confirmed that Aldrin was “alive,” much to Dokoupil’s relief.
“Buzz, come to the show. We love you. Jump in my face, actually. Punch us both!” DOKoupil announced before offering his full apology. “Buzz Aldrin, I’m sorry. I think Kim Kardashian owes you an apology.”
Kardashian made headlines after revealing that she believes the moon landing was a hoax during the Thursday, October 30, episode of The Kardashians.
“I don’t think we did [go to the moon]. I think it was a lie. I saw a few videos on Buzz Aldrin talking about how it didn’t happen. He says it all the time now,” he said, referring to a video tutorial of an astronaut that has been a hit with many people.” Maybe we should get Buzz Aldrin. Oh, my God, Khloé [Kardashian] should find him on his podcast. Conspiracy theory podcast. “
NASA responded to Kardashian’s tweets, confirming the moon landing happened.
“Yes, @kimkardashian, we’ve been to the moon before … 6 times!” NASA astronaut Sean Duffy was shocked on Thursday. “And the best
