The case focuses on missing items – including designer bags, jewelry and Wendy’s Gold Diamond Anniversary Band – that the Osefos were reported to have stolen during a break from their home while on vacation in Jamaica in April 2024.

Eddie and Wendy were booked in Westminster, Maryland, on October 9, 2025 on multiple charges. They were released from custody on October 10, 2025 after paying a $50,000 bond.
A search and seizure warrant was executed at Wendy and Eddie’s home that day as they were arrested.
Wendy was booked on October, 10, 2025, by the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office on seven counts of insurance fraud, eight counts of insurance fraud and one count of providing false information.
Currently, Bladder curve The star’s husband Eddie is facing nine counts of insurance fraud, eight counts of conspiracy to commit insurance fraud and one count of making a false statement to the police.
On April 7, 2024, the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office dispatched law enforcement officers to Osefos’ home after a reported breakup. Wendy and Eddie told investigators they would return from a trip to Jamaica to find their home full of valuables – including designer handbags and jewelery – missing.
The police report said officers found a “damaged screen lying on the ceiling,” but noted that the window itself was not closed.
“To enter or exit that window, one must enter the toilet. The toilet cover was down and there was no debris in it,” said the police. “When the Sheriff’s office crew went through the roof and went home, they followed the ‘grit’ back inside. The osefos have an adt system and a ring camera.”
The police determined that the Osefos “activated the ADT alarm system” before they went on vacation, although there was “no show found inside the residence” during their trip.
“There is activity, like a package delivery, on the ring camera that Osefos looked into the distance,” the report said.
Eddie later gave two statements as part of an insurance investigation in which he denied any of the lost items were returned.
“He was asked if he had any other insurance but he failed to disclose the homes and those who made the claim with the travel insurance,” said the police.
Both Osefos’ signed statements cost $2,500 for the building and $450,000 for the property.
In his first case with the travelers insurance company on April 8, 2024, Eddie reported that he and Wendy were both wearing their night bands when the robbery occurred. Two days later, Eddie called the insurance company to ask about renewing his claim because Wendy’s Gold Diamond Annivil Annivild band was actually missing.
Travelers settled the claim that day for $25,380, including $4,500 for the price of the replacement band.
On April 11, 2024, Wendy and Eddie both submitted letters to the jewelry trust that 57 items were stolen in a home burglary. Among the items listed in their insurance coverage was the Gold Diamond Annivil band they were reporting to the travelers.
It is reported that Eddie did not mention the jewelry claim or payment to travelers during the subsequent interview on April 22, 2024.
Carroll County investigators suspect the circumstances surrounding the alleged break-in after discovering that some of the stolen items are worth at least $20,000.
For example, the police used evidence from the store’s records, an e-mail that was reported to have confirmed that it was lost and returned to the store on January 14, 2023, where the refund was returned two weeks later for a refund of $ 948.70.
The criminal investigation is open to photos from Wendy’s Instagram account taken before the robbery where they wore my diamond band – which was distinguished by its many rows of diamonds and V on the finger. The police later found a photo taken after the break-in in which Wendy was seen wearing the same ring on her finger, although the couple reported it as a missing person. (Wendy’s ring was photographed prior to the burglary for appraisal and thus police matched the jewelry to a photo taken on April 27, 2024.)
Elsewhere, detectives find an email Eddie allegedly sent to Wendy five days after the reported burglary with a full list of items allegedly missing from their home. You asked if there were any “top additions we could add to this inventory (ie, Chanel shoes, etc.)?”
“I’m trying to get the total over $423,000 which is our maximum policy,” he added in an email.
When the police issued an arrest warrant for Osefos in October 2025, at the same time they carried out house-to-house raids. Investigators say they recovered at least 15 items that were allegedly stolen during the burglary.
“[The] “The investigation revealed that the Osefos will be burdened with huge debt,” the police noted.
The couple’s lawyer was told We: “Dr. Wendy Osefo and her husband, Edward Osefo, have returned home safely with their family and have been able to be released from court. At this time, they respectfully request privacy as they focus on their family and the legal process ahead.”

Ashley Darby for reporting they took his aim following his arrest for deception.
“We’re making music, not felonies, if you know what I mean,” Darby said while performing in Washington, DC, just creating confusion here. This just doesn’t happen. This made news for me. “
According to Andy Cohen – Who is holding The real mothers of the potomac Reunion – He had a lot more to say about the situation.
“I’m saddened by this,” she said on the October 13 episode of Siriusxm’s Andy Cohen is alive. “I’m really saddened by this and Wendy, you know, I’m a Wendy Fan and she was a great housewife and a great role model, so I think all of this is something.”
