Billionaire Adelson Fatuas Stefanik at the Gala, he hopes to win Ny and the governor

Adelson went on to describe Stefanik as a “great leader,” crediting him with defending “the Jewish people, Israel and the land of the free.”

“Thank you for continuing to be who you are – a brave young woman,” Adelson said. “I am sending you from here a hug for all your achievements, and I hope to visit you in the office of Nfesa in New York next year in the election.”

Adelson, the majority owner of Las Vegas Sands and a Philanthropist and physician with an estimated net worth of Republion-Plus Good, has sponsored the Pro-Trump Super Pac Save America through multiple election cycles.

The Zionist Association of America, held in New York, drew political and philanthropic leaders from the Pro-Israel community.

Stefanik launched his long-awaited New York Republican campaign on Friday, entering the 2026 race as he challenges Democratic Gov.

A House Republican and one of President Donald Trump’s allies, Stefanik represents a lean district in Upstate New York and has weighed in on the gubernatorial race for months.

“I’m working for the Governor to make New York affordable and safe. We’ve seen decades of one government led by Democrats. And Stefanik said he’s the worst governor in America,” Stefanik said Friday morning in America’s “Fox and Friends.”

“New York is the most unaffordable state in the nation, with the highest taxes, the highest energy bills, the highest debt. We’re also having a hard time defying Democrats,” Stefanik said.

“Our campaign will include Republicans, Democrats, and independents who will fire Kathy Hochul once and for all to save New York,” promised his statement and accompanying video.

Stefanik, a Republican leadership member, also charged that “Kathy Hochul is the worst governor in America,” repeating a line he’s used for months.

In another post that day, Hochul shared a clip from his appearance on CNN, X.

“Elise Stefanik is more than just a Trump matchup. She voted with him 100% of the time this year,” Hochul wrote. “You own this purdown. You own the fact that 3 million young people are trying to figure out how to feed their families. That’s Sellout Stefanik.”
