Bette midler continues to recall the precious memories of his time Diane Keaton after his death.
Appears on Thursday, October 16 Episode of Watch what’s happening live with Andy CohenMidler, 79, was asked about her favorite memory involving Katoon.
“My favorite [memory] you were First Story Club. “We had a lot of fun at that show,” Midler said. I think that was the most fun I ever had because those two girls [Keaton and costar Goldie Hawn]between them, I was down every single day. I was crying laughing. “
He added, “We had a great time.”
News broke on Saturday, October 11 that Keaton had died at the age of 78. While there were no details at first, his family confirmed through a speaker on October 15 that Keneumonia’s cause of death.
After the heartbreaking news, media had nothing but praise for Keaton as he stepped into the role of host Andy Cohen On Thursday Whwl.
“I met him for a long time, a long time ago, a girlfriend made me and I always loved him. He was very different, special, very little,” he said. “Because I used to go home and try and do that style that he had, that kind of like … you know, Giddy [style]. I couldn’t do it. No one could do it. And I’ve seen many people approach but no one has ever done the truth… that spirit of truth itself [had]. He is an amazing, amazing personality. “

“He was such a genius,” Midler said. “There was something about him that was absolutely magical … he was completely human and unapproachable. He was brilliant.”
The Midlers added that they were initially intimidated by Kateon when they first crossed paths.
“I have a great memory of him with Goldie … I’ve never worked or met them before, and we sat down in a cafe … at a round table,” I was quoted as saying. Stephen Colbert. “I was a little newbie. So, we sat there and they started telling stories, and I’ll tell you, I’ve never laughed so hard in my entire life.”
Midler, Keaton and Hawn play college friends First Story Club, working together with their sad husbands. The 1996 film was an adaptation Olivia Goldsmith’s 1992 Novel of the same name.
Before tonight’s TV appearance, Midler paid tribute to Keaton in a heartfelt post on Saturday, October 11.
“The beautiful, beautiful, wonderful, wonderful Diane Keaton is dead,” said the media alongside a photo of Katon. “I can’t tell you how sad it is that this makes me so sweet, real, and completely without controversy, or any competition that you expected of who you are… OH, HERE, SLEEP!”
