Russian Missile and Drone attacks in Ukraine overnight on Saturday killed at least four people and injured 20, officials said, and prompted new requests from the President of Ukraine for additional Ukrainian Air Defense plans.
In the capital, Kyawu, two people were killed and 13 injured in the worst misle attack on Saturday, Kyiv police said.
A fire broke out in a non-residential building in one area, and debris from the missiles landed in an open area in another, damaging windows in Ukraine’s emergency construction.
“Explosion in the capital. The city is under ballistic attack,” mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote by telegraph at the time of the attack.

In the region of Dnipropetrovsk, two people were killed and seven were injured, said Gov. Vladyslav Haivanenko said that farm buildings and private homes were damaged in the strikes.
Ukraine’s Air Force said that Russia has launched nine missiles and 62 drones, of which 50 missiles and missiles have been deployed.
In Russia, the defense ministry said its defense forces shot down 121 Ukrainian drones in Russia overnight.
Ukrainian President VolOdymyr Zesenskyy said on Saturday that such an attack underscores his country’s need for additional US Patriot Defense systems.
“It makes sense because of such an attack that we pay a lot of attention to Patriot programs – to be able to protect our cities in this context. It is important that the right partners use what we discussed in those days,” he wrote in English in X.
“America, Europe and the G7 countries can help ensure that such attacks no longer threaten lives,” he said.
Ukraine received at least seven Patriot systems when the full-scale airstrikes began, according to European defense sources, and Zelenskyy hopes to buy 25 more from the US to strengthen its air defense, especially in cities.

Zelenskyy on Friday urged the United States to hit the entire Russian energy industry with positions and not just the two oil companies targeted this week. He also repeated his appeal for long-range missiles to return to Russia.
Zelenskyy was in London for talks with eleven European leaders who have promised military assistance to protect his country from a real Russian attack if the war continues for more than three years.
The meeting held by British Prime Minister Keirir Starmer aimed to increase pressure on Russian President Vladimir Putin, adding new measures to the immigration of people from the United States and European countries.
The talks also dealt with ways to help protect Ukraine’s power grid from Russia’s almost daily drone and winter attacks, and to equip Kyiv with long-range missiles that can launch inside Russia. Zelenskyy urged the US to send Tomahawk missiles, an idea that US Donald Trump has considered but has not agreed to so far.
Kirill Dmitriv, Putin’s envoy for investment and economic cooperation, said Friday that he believes Russia, the US and Ukraine are ‘close to a three-year war.
Speaking to CNN after arriving in Washington for talks with American officials, Dmitriev said that the planned summit in Budapest between Trump and Putin could have been canceled but could have happened later.
Trump said Tuesday that his plan for a quick meeting with Putin was on hold because he didn’t want it to be a “waste of time.”
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov made it clear in public comments on Tuesday that Russia opposes an immediate attack.
A White House official confirmed Friday that Dmitriev, who announced his visit to X, will meet with Steve Witkoff. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the person was not authorized to discuss it publicly in the private meeting.
