Dealed deeply about his shop gems and the Christian faith, musician work Portia Zvavahera explores the dream area. He was born in Harare, Zimbabwe, where they were supported, and translates his powerful dreams and spiritual beliefs on the common arts that often specify the symbolic characters and animals. His paintings have richly built, united methods such as batik and printing common in Zimbabwean’s clothing. Jobs develop certain facts, investigate the themes such as family, society, faith, metamorphosis and protection.

The seeer was held by the only opening of the ICA Boston, “Hidden battles / hondo WzakaCanzani,” his first Solo Museum’s first show in the United States.
Your new exhibition title shows that it is possible to deal with healing. Can you incorporate personal, united and symbolic importance to these invisible problems and how they gather the activities presented in ICA Boston?
When I look back at my work where I start, I always have wars. I always fight for my life, fighting for my children, fighting for my parents, and I strive for people around me, in a spiritual sense. These are the battles I am talking about, but you can’t physically see them because they are hidden in the spiritual world. They come to me when I lay down – sometimes from bad dreams, bad powers, or when you hear someone is not well feeling. Sometimes dreams associated with my daughter or family. These are spiritual battles I am talking about, the hidden battles that we cannot see.
Your new drawings of the exhibition has a lot of reading. Can you grow according to the description of them?
Two-headed snake you see in Koriwa Hupge It is important because I have seen you when I visit Grandma, who had never loved. In our culture, it is not a good thing to see this two headaches. Means death. It’s not something to see. And trees in Katarana Hondo and You They symbolize health, physically, physically and spiritually. They give the oxygen we breathe, and in my thoughts, our spirits and souls are connected to them when we are physically abandoned.
Surealism celebrates its 100 years last year. How does he relate to the leases and influences, especially as they celebrate dreams as creative force and a horizontal gate and unknown?
For me, paint is a way to record dreams. When I was a child, I lived with my grandmother, my mother, and sometimes my father, and I exchange matters with our dreams and on earth. On my journey as an artist, I decided that I wouldn’t let my dreams go for forgetting. I thought: Why don’t you explain? For me, painting my dreams is not just a healing process but the Scriptural procedure. Especially when I look back on past paintings by looking back, I realize that I record my future in a way. That this is linked to Surrurelism, I don’t know, but painting my solution to understand my repetitive dreams.
Can you move with us about different animals that are presented in the exhibition and its objectives on your dream world?
Wicked spirits and strength I am battling my dreams is attacked by the physical methods of animals, such as rats and snakes, in my writings. The use of animals is inspired by the Bible story when Jesus met the demons, asking Jesus to clear wicked spirits and pass it on to the nearest group of pigs.
Can you tell us more about drawing “winning” drawing that often adds to end the show or series?
Whenever I made a series or preparation for the show, I always have a victory paint. They are often records when I feel like I’ve won something I’m going through. The victory painting is not something that I have just painted; It must come from experience and personal winning.
What role do you play in your creative process? You specify that you get monochromatic dreams, however, your palette is usually filled with a rich plamma, visible burgundy and other hypnowling hues.
In all honesty, I don’t know where the color or role comes from my creative process. When I was in the studio, I want to get rid of feelings and feel from a dream dream, so the colors are natural to a meaningful sign. I’m sure someone can look at my paintings and explain what is said after my color selection and use my tongue, but I don’t have my own explanation.
He is based on Harare, Zimbabwe. There are many fun painters, galleries and fasists pick up when perhaps many US holders don’t know. What do you feel is still poor to increase Art Scene of international area? What is your highest recommended commendation for the breakdown of artism that visited Harare?
Raphael Change is doing much of Art Scene here. He was the invention of the invention of Zimbabwe Pavilion in Venice in 2011 and began a conversation between Venice and Zimbabwe, which is such a great appearance. But if anyone comes to Harare, I recommend visiting Zimbabwean Gallery, where Raphael is the Director.
