Otto von Bismarck once said, “God has a special death for fools, drunkards and the United States of America.” For most of our history, the iron chancellor was right by a third. Abundant resources, an entrepreneurial spirit and a system that favors new rewards forced us into the early 20th century.
We founded the age of the Internet, gave birth to the world’s most important technological giants, and now lead the intelligence revolution.
The intelligence boom promises to be more dangerous than the beginning of the Internet. It will lead to a higher quality of life for everyone in the first country to achieve AI Perminance. AI has already enabled cancer detection and developed self-driving cars to reduce road deaths.
The new Arms Race is designed to compute – and America cannot fall behind
The AI Boom is defining our economy, and we are now home to billions of dollars in American Innovation. America attracts 60% of global infrastructure investment and holds the lion’s share of cutting edge models that will help solve problems for all Americans.

The growth of artificial intelligence is also a very important gift to keep our economy growing. Harvard Another Harvard Economist who finds that without data centers, GDP growth would have been 0.1% in the first half of the year.
As an economist on the Hill recently noted, without this observation, “we could see very weak growth numbers.” The AI infrastructure already supports more than 600,000 direct jobs – about 1.5 times the employment of our 16 car carriers combined – and is expected to fuel our economy to come.
But profit does not help. If we slow down, China will overtake us and we will end up importing, not exporting, the technology of the future. Actually, A new report in the Wall Street Journal It pointed out that the AI race against China is as ‘consequential’ as the cold war because technology has the potential to ‘influence large tables of people around the world.’
America’s secret weapon to crush China in the global AI race
That is why we are both proud to present it AI Infrastructure Coalition (AIIC) Making sure America finishes first.
The next five years will see $5 trillion in spending on Global AI infrastructure, generating $15.7 trillion in economic value over the next decade. Winning the AI race means millions of high-paying jobs, redefining productivity, and exporting the technology that protects our prosperity. Defeat means collecting everything from China, which will be the unplanned suppliers economically and militarily.
China is closing the gap at breakneck speed. It holds about 75% of the world’s ai patents and their models have reached 80% to 90% of American capabilities at very low costs. Chinese Cloud providers are planning 65% of the used capital by the year 2025, supported by the trends that make energy free for their firms.
The rapid rise of AI puts new urgency in Congress to Unleash Energy
NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang bluntly warns: “China will win the AI race” unless we do. If Beijing rules, it will control autonomous weapons, cyber warfare and global chains. American data – from health records to financial information – can flow through Chinese systems, exposing citizens to surveillance, manipulation and breaches.
As President Donald Trump declared, AI breakthroughs could ‘reverse the global balance.’ Former President Joe Beriden also agreed: “We cannot allow America to be passive when it comes to technology that will define the future.” Both of them understand that there is no situation in which China is allowed to send robots and powerful models to the world of tomorrow.

Instead of acknowledging the flaws of this AI race, many politicians and pundits are turning to fear-mongering about AI. Polls now show that 83% of Chinese citizens see AI as beneficial, while 39% are optimistic about the US
The road to prosperity will be cleared by private trucks
Unfortunately, as is often the case, the prevailing narrative in the media and social media is often simplistic and correct. We’re told that data centers are the reason most Americans are facing increased operational costs. Maine, with a negligible number of data centers, saw the mountains of the previous year; Virginia, very much home, did not.
Goldman Sachs recently published an analysis of prices across the country and found that the price of electricity rises more when reliable sources of energy and had reliable transmissions. The Firm noted that the Firm’s small price inflation had the availability of local resources (coal / wind / gas) “That” helped to keep electricity prices low with sufficient air availability. “

Water consumption? They are small and often reworked – less than American golf courses. Job loss fear? Reincarnation of Doomsaying. Jeremy Rifkin’s 1995 prophecy of the Internet – it is caused by the failure of virtue to be seen properly, and so is the present suffering. The nature of the infrastructure infrastructure for AI, from energy companies to data centers to hyperscalers like Google and Microsoft, means that the growth of the sector will require the hiring of software engineers, electricians, property managers and so on. Google has already announced that it will support an effort to train 100,000 new electrical workers.
As President Donald Trump declared, AI breakthroughs could ‘reverse the global balance.’
But if the United States is going to continue to be the nation’s leading AI, we need a general consensus to enable it. America needs to build its own energy infrastructure and semiconductor manufacturing plants. However, another five AIs are dying in hell, wasting $64 billion in investment. As of early 2024, China will add 429 gigawatts to its existing capacity; We were able to add 68 gigawatts.

Similarly, Federal policymakers have to deal with a confusing patchwork of AI laws in a nation that has reasonable laws to invoke federal laws. We need clear guardians who protect the people while giving them to the builders. The goal is simple: Unleash American ingenuity, don’t exercise yourself.
America can and should win the AI race. Let’s build the future here, use it with more energy, train our people to grow in it, and make sure the dividends flow to the American people.
