Detroit Lions Star Amon-Ra st. Brown apologized to anyone who was personally “offended” by President Donald Trump during his party’s victory on Sunday.
St. Brown did Trump’s signature dance after scoring the touchdown, then pointed at the president, who was in attendance on the northwest side of the field.
Brown addressed the incident and the public response during an episode of his podcast on Wednesday.

“If I offended anyone, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to offend anyone. It was just like that, we’re having fun,” he said. “If any president was at that show, if they had a dance, I would have done it. You can’t do anything the president does.”
Trump became the first US President to attend an NFL game since Jimmy Carter in 1978.
At St Brown, it was a special time.
“Even after the game, someone tells me ‘that’s the first game you’ve been a president in over 40 years,’ the first game of the first season, which is crazy,” St. Brown. “We were just having fun dancing, it was nothing, nothing less.”

Some Commanders fans at Sunday’s game were the subject of controversy after they booed Trump as he read the names of those who wrote to American soldiers over the American Book of Hope program. The boos came at a time when Trump’s visit to the Washington, DC, area had the effect of being shut down by the latest administration. Days before the game, ESPN reported that Trump wanted the Stadialers’ billion-dollar stadium project to be signed.
The White House did not confirm this report, but in a previous statement, said Minister of Press Karoline Leavet, “that will be a good name, as it would be President Trump who made the reconstruction of the new stadium possible.”
