Guy Fieri rushed into emergency surgery after tearing a muscle

Guy Fieri was rushed into emergency surgery after missing a set of steps and tearing his quad tendon in half.
During an interview with Fox News Digital, the food network star explained that he is currently in a wheelchair and using machines.
“[I] He went down a set of steps with one foot forward and moved forward on the other side and caught the edge. So, you know, it freed me. I looked like I might be doing poles, but when my right leg pressed on itself at the point of inversion and the doctor said he’s never seen – you know, in 20 years – he hasn’t seen a tear in a large part of your quad in some part. Yes, it sucked,” Lieri said.

He explained that he was rushed into surgery after the fall to make sure his muscles didn’t “

“You usually tear that muscle in your tendon or the tendon tears in the bone, but this was right in the middle of the entire quad muscle and it exploded,” Lieri said.

The chef explained that he was in the middle of filming his new show, “when the fall and surgery happened.”
“So, in the middle of filming that and we have everyone in the city and all the chefs there and 125 people on set – and now I get to go ahead and have a walk, and now you guys can tour. But then Fierive,” said Fiesi, “says Fiesi, explaining that his own injury has been “money.”

Fieri predicts his injury, which will keep him off his feet for eight weeks, will completely affect this year’s Thanksgiving meal.

The professional chef plans to pass the torch to his two sons, Hunter and Ryder, and nephew Jules, for this holiday.

Fieri has been in recovery for a long time. After eight weeks of no sound in the leg, he will have to cash in and get his rapier.
