The Bachelorette’s Ali Fedotowsky Shares ‘Real Talk’ About 10-Lb Weight Gain

The former Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky he made a public promise to work on his fitness in the new year.
“Real Talk: I’ve gained about 10 pounds since October. In two months!” Fedotowsky, 41, wrote on his Instagram Stories on Saturday, December 27, “At first, I was fine because it looks like I gained a lot of muscle.”
He continued, “Now, my muscles are decreasing and my weight is increasing, which is the opposite of what I want to happen. I am publicly committing to putting my health first.”
While Fedotowsky admitted that he “allowed [herself] “indulging” in treats during the holidays, you’re ready to make a change.
“I don’t regret it, but it’s not the way I want to continue,” he wrote. “It’s never about weight for me, it’s about strength. I’m 40 years old and strength is the most important thing for women my age. Anyway, come with me on this strength journey!”
In a subsequent social media post, Fedotowsky emphasized that her weight loss effort “isn’t about being skinny.”
“This is about being healthy. I’ve been feeling bad about eating so much junk food this holiday season,” said the Bachelor Nation alum. “I’m starting to feel my body really changing now that I’m 40 years old, and I just want to be healthy and strong for my family and myself in the years to come!”
Fedotowsky previously tweaked his fitness routine in preparation for season 3 of Fox’s Special Forces: The World’s Toughest Experiment.
“I lost 20 pounds from this game. I was working out two or three times a day. My whole day,” Fedotowsky said exclusively.
