Businessman Henrik Vange (Christopher Plummer) You may have proof that Mikael needs to motivate himself, but first, he wants Blomkvist to solve a mystery that has been forbidden by his family for decades.
This is where the title character, Lisbeth Salunder (Rooney Mara), enters into a story similar to the forces of nature. Lisbeth is a persistent shooter by habit, but that’s not what makes her special. Mikael hired Lisbeth for his case because she has a brilliant analytical mind and a ruthless mind that heals her well when she goes up against really bad people. The question isn’t whether Mikael and Lisbeth will solve the mystery – it’s whether they’ll survive the encounter with the killer.
