The holiday episode of South Park aims to set up a clean bill of fare

South park He’s had one heck of a run of episodes since season 27 set in July. Nine episodes later, we somehow worked our way to the fifth season of 28 with “Turkey Trot,” an episode that pulls the year’s most dynamic parts into one cohesive place. There’s a lot that doesn’t go wrong with “Turkey Trot,” and it can’t be imagined doing a lot of the heavy lifting of the narrative going forward without doing it all. Honestly, it was a refreshing episode that discussed many of the unresolved issues in one place, and put them up for a test on December 10th that might actually come.

The 28th annual Turkey Trot brings it all back

The meat and potatoes story of “Turkey Trot” revolves around the boys. We are eager to win the $5,000 cash prize for finishing first in the Turkey Trot 5K (sponsored by Saudi Arabia, and advertised with hilarious arabia, and familiar with the pun until it announces) to hire black tolkiens and improve his odds. Not wanting to participate in the race, Tolkien does not feel good about taking money from Saudi Arabia for moral reasons, although Carterman takes a big runner because, in his mind, all black children are great athletes. Cartman pushed back the engineers with his genius, they put you in Tolkien, insisting that participating in a 5k is the most progressive thing he can do.

Using the Turkey Trot 5K as a staging tool, Trey Parker and Matt Stone pulled everyone into the fold to set their resolutions. Detective Harris tries to keep Pete Hegseth at bay, who is trying to rescue Peter Thiyeli from prison so he can make it into Washington DC and help with Trump and jd Vance’s Ahrot Plan and Satan’s child. Meanwhile, Kristi Noem, now working for homeland security (and still going to shoot dogs), fights the hegseth over their war plan against South Park, who they believe are leading the president’s rebellion. Their efforts are very flawless because the only thing they really care about is putting out more content for their social media stuff.

As all the towns in South Park come together in such a big way, we get a Thanksgiving feast at the “Turkey Trot,” including Mr. Mackey’s awkward return to his snow class. He wants the prize money because he clearly failed to get his nut in the ‘nutty’ season. Casting a wide net to look across the last two narrative threads, South park It does what is done well by allowing all the specific storyline colliders in one place before the final arrival.

A great way to end such a tiring run

Having married Seasons 27 and 28 so much that I probably won’t run again, it’s amazing how Park and the Stones set themselves to stick to a strong finding of a strong ending. Accepting that they feel bound by the political planks of “the woman in the hat,” It is clear that they are able to rely on this political difficulty is not how they want to manage the show, but something they feel morally bound to do.

Switching the narrative back to the boys and all of the South Park residents, we’ve had some solid episodes over the past few weeks, and that’s because we’re going back to the Classic South park A place where the focus is on the fragility of a small town, and the political stuff works as a B story. When the boys are completely mixed up, not only, South park Always flourish, and I hope this energy will carry the season on December 10.
