Paralympian Paralympian Medalist doctor Paige Greco suddenly dies on the 28th

Paige, who had cerebral palsy, won the gold medal in the 3,000 meter individual medley at the 2021 Tokyo Paralympic Games. She also got bronze in the women’s time trial.

Earlier this year, he won a bronze medal at the Para-Cycling Road World Championship.

“The grief felt across the bloodline in Australia today is a reflection of the seriousness with which he was held,” Cameron MurrayCEO of ParalyMPICS Australia, said in a statement. “Paige was an amazing athlete, but most importantly, an amazing person.”

Murray added, “His achievements on the international stage were different, but it was his quiet kindness, his unquestioning ability to make people feel included.”

Paige has been active on social media, showing off her family and traveling, celebrating her successes and sharing her low points with fans.

“Being an elite athlete comes with its problems,” he wrote Instagram August 2024. “Not choosing to compete in Paris 2024 was one of the most difficult moments of my cycling career. I came out with a fake podiated and I hope that I am proud of the importance. Even if I am proud of the effort of my team and putting in the preparation and getting to where we did.”

He added, “I’m so grateful for all the support and love during this time and I’m so devastated that I won’t be at the games, but for the students I work with and they wish me the best and you know you’re going to do the best for us.”
