Major restaurant chains offer meals to veterans on Veterans Day

Many large restaurant chains and cafe chains are offering free food, drinks or buy-one-get-one-only deals for veterans and active-duty service members this Veterans Day.
Below, here’s a look at some of the most notable restaurants and businesses offering these veterans day deals.

All offers require military identification unless otherwise noted.

Applebee’s
Applebee’s is offering free ENCLENEL ENTRÉES from a limited menu all day to all Veterans or active duty military members.
This is the 18th year in a row that Applebee’s has offered veterans day deals, according to the company’s website.

Buffalo Wild Wings
Veteran military members can still enjoy 10 free wings and an order of regular fries for free.

When visiting wild buffalo wings, the offer is valid on a first-come, first-served basis.
In the california pizza kitchen
All military or active duty military who visit a California pizza kitchen will receive a complimentary drink and one entrée from the limited menu.
Beverage choices include Coca-Cola fountain drinks, Iced tea or Passion Fruit Mango Iced Tea.

Entrée options include four choices of full-size salads (BBQ original salad, casar crusar, pastas pasteas (original pastzas (cream pastzate (cream pastsas (cream pastras (three pastras with chicken or bolognese spaghetti).
Chili
Marines and active duty personnel can receive a free meal and non-alcoholic beverage from a limited menu at all Chili’s locations.

ChipOtle Mexican Grill
Diners visiting Chipotle Mexico locations between 4 PM and 8 PM can purchase an entrée and get a second entrée of equal or lesser value free.
“We are honored to serve those who serve our country.”
“As a small token of our gratitude, we invite veterans and the military community to share with someone they care about this Veterans Day,” said Chris Brandt, Chipotle’s Chief Executive Officer, according to a news release.
“Their courage and commitment inspires us every day, and we are honored to serve those who serve our country.”

Cracker Barrel Country Store
All marines and careers can swear by the local grocery store’s old country cracker barrel all day for a special sunrise pancake.
“At Cracker Barrel, we believe warm, delicious food is one of the simplest yet most versatile ways to say, ‘Thank you,'” Sarah Moore, chief marketing officer for Cracker Barrel, said in a release.
“Thank you for the opportunity to share a meal and a moment to connect with veterans and military personnel from around the country this Water Day.”

The Sunrise Pancake special comes with two Buttermilk pancakes and a choice of eggs or a hearty breakfast meat.

It’s not just breakfast. The offer is available to Dine-in customers all day.
Denny’s
Denny’s served pancakes for breakfast to veterans and active military.

The original grand gram is available from 5 a.m. to noon at all Denny’s locations nationwide.
It comes with two buttermilk pancakes, two strips of bacon, two sausage links and two eggs made to order.
The Golden Corral
Golden Corral will welcome veterans, current service members and members of the National Guard for a free dinner from 4 pm until close.

The Army Military Appreciation Event is now 25 years old and has served nearly 6.7 million since 2001, according to the Golder Corral website.
The hy-vee
If there’s no time to eat down, the hy-vee might be the best place to fill up.
A buffet-style breakfast will be served free to all Veterans and active military members from 6-10 AM

Active duty and retired military can earn 15% off their food purchases at Hy-Vee.
HY-VEE has been serving breakfast to veterans since 1999.
Hop
Veterans can enjoy the patriotic appeal of Ihop’s red tribute

Blueberry Pancakes are served with two eggs, hash browns and a choice between two strips of bacon or sausage links.
The Hop will welcome veterans for free food from 7 AM to 7 PM at participating locations.
Krispy kreme
Veterans and active duty military can grab a free coffee and donut from Krispy Kreme.

Outback Steakhouse
A complimentary Aussie 3-Course meal awaits all current and former military members at Outback Steakhouse.
The meal comes with a choice of soup or salad as a starter, a selected entrée and a new style cheesesteak for dessert.
Shake Shack
Active duty military personnel and veterans can kneel down for a free burger.

The big shack is made with quarter-pound beef patties, Shakama’s secret sauce lettuce, lettuce, American cheese, sliced pickles, onions and three potato tomatoes.
This agreement applies only to participating slum areas, excluding airports, stadiums, arenas, shopping plazas and museums.
Starbucks
Veterans, politicians and their allies can pick up a free cup of coffee at participating participating locations across the country.
