Dax Shepard wants his daughters and Kristen Bell to talk back

Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell Proudly raising two daughters who ‘talk backwards’ – even that doesn’t sit well with everyone.
On Monday, November 3, the episode of his podcast “armchard discount”, Shepard, 50, recalled that he was just a friend when he was “kind”, not afraid to express his thoughts.
“They’re kind of trying to figure out how they’re going to talk to us or to anyone because it’s so cheap, right?” Shepard explained, noting, “down there, everybody says, ‘Hi, Ms. Kristen. Hi, Mr. DAX.'”
Shepard revealed that her friend called her out on how her children were getting on in public, including when they were eating out.
“He’s like, ‘Yeah, your kids are going to let you rip,'” she explained. “‘They seem disrespectful’ is what he said. And he feels a little entitled.”
While Shepard admitted that it is “appropriate” to have respect, like those seen in the South, he was proud that his girls would find someone else for themselves.
“I said, ‘You’re dead right. They’re talking back and being respectful,'” Shepard said of his response.

Shepard added that he is “willing to deal” with what some consider to be “disgraceful” behavior from his young children to encourage the strength of the adults.
“I can handle that,” Shepard concluded. “Because I want this story from them as women.”
Shepard and Bell, 45, have been honest about their parenting style — and sometimes contradictory ways — throughout their marriage.
Earlier this year, Shepard told his podcast listeners that swearing is okay in their house, depending on the situation.
“I swore fully in front of my kids. They’re allowed to swear, but when they’re called, but when they’re called, and they go into the restaurant,” Shepard said during the July 28 episode.
She revealed, “My defense is, I just told the girls, like, ‘Hey, these are the sounds coming out of your mouth, and you’re assigning what you’re saying to yourself.'”
