Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso responds to Vinicius Junior Fallout

Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso has said any issues between him and star forward Vinicius junior have been resolved after the Brazilian publicly and privately apologized for his sending off during El Clasico. Vinicius reacted negatively to Alonso’s decision to send him off in the final 20 minutes, saying ‘I’m leaving the club’.

On Wednesday, Vinicius addressed the issue, apologizing in a statement on social media to the club, fans, President and players who work directly. In private, he apologized to the trained staff and those who work with them in advance of the training. At the time it was reported that Alonso and Vinicius were ‘in the beginning of conversation’.

“We had a meeting with everyone on Wednesday, and Vinicius had a lot of energy. He spoke honestly and was very positive.”

However, the most remarkable thing about Vinicius’ apology was not that he did it, but that he did not include Alenso in it. The Basque manager said he was happy with Vinicius’s statement though.

“It was a very important, very good statement. He showed his honesty; he spoke from the heart. What he said is the most important thing, and I was very closed on Wednesday.”

Sorry to everyone but Xabi Alonso

The truth Vinicius did not speak surprised Alonso, and Alonso was asked if he himself was surprised at what was said.

“There was a lot of hope; we trained well yesterday. We’re all eager and we’re in the same boat,” Alonso commented, posing the question. He also confirmed that there will be no disciplinary action against Vinicius, explaining that ‘No, there will be no punishment.’

It continued to be the context of the press conference, but Alonso refused to OPINE with his participation in his Vinicius apology.

“I think I’ve already received enough answers about Vinicius. I understand and respect that your focus is on that. It’s time to worry about Valencia. I understand, but please understand me.”

Does Alonso want Vinicius to renew his contract

Another part of the equation is the ongoing contract status of Vinicius, who is yet to renew his contract at Real Madrid, with less than 18 months remaining.

“He seems very focused and very ambitious.. He played a good game the other day.

Alonso had no fear that Vinicius would repeat his behavior after Sunday’s dismissal.

He thinks of the team, and everyone, including Vinicius, is focused on the most important thing. Everyone wants to be in the pan. The focus is the same. We want to continue in a proven way. “

The lack of punishment from Alonso clears the way for Vinicius to start on Saturday night against Valencia at the Santiago Bernabeu. What will be interesting is that Alonso repeats his decision to take Vinicius closed.
