Professor Wes: ‘I won’t hire’ today under new university dei rules

University of Washington Professor transferred to college strong diversity, equity and needs) (Dei) For new hires and a teacher performance rubric that includes a scorecard rating system used to assess potential performance.

Seattle Red Radio Host Jason Rantz also blasted the university’s hiring policy, saying “This application process makes it easy to discriminate against conservatives, which you won’t hear why you can’t hear the far-right faculty talking outside,” in his latest OP-ED.

“The university doesn’t want diverse thought; it enforces the narrowing of allowed political views,” Rantz added.
In addition to the statement of the exception of the request for diversion, the professor explained that the planned rubric to evaluate the possible performance of the professor includes a section labeled “variation,” the low-level requests of the poor.
A “poor” rating describes the professor as showing “little evidence that they may have contributed to UW PVERSITY BUCKERPRInt. ”
“I’ve known faculty, very talented faculty that have left because of this kind of pressure and people who can’t even fit in,” the recording explains. “I think most of the students who are probably looking for a teaching job are kind enough to say, why bother?”

“I mean, look at all the crap you have to deal with,” the post reads. “You have to have some kind of statement that will get them excited and say the things you’re going to do.”

In March, US Department of EducationThe Office of Civil Rights (OCR) has launched an investigation into several universities for “diversity and diversity in academic programs and activities.”
The University of Washington was among those universities under investigation.
“The University of Washington does not view diversity and access as a conflict of merit and efficiency, and we remain committed to providing positive access for all,” a University spokesperson told Fox News Digital. “Our hiring practices adhere to state and federal laws to ensure that race is not a factor in hiring, and UW has acted appropriately when such violations are known to occur.”
“Schools, colleges and departments within the University have a great deal of latitude in their hiring practices, even if they all adhere to federal and state laws,” said a spokesperson for the department.
“Educational Search College was referred to the latest local post of the area was in compliance with these laws, but to protect any understanding or clarification,” said a spokesperson, “said the company’s spokesperson. “We also review and hire the most extensive methods to ensure that they follow state and federal laws.”
