Americans are seeing higher beef prices as cattle ranchers look at Trump’s turn
Big News for Vegans: The cost of beef has been exposed, and President Donald Trump has made American Cattle Ranchers mad at policies from America – finally.
While U.S. consumers factored in higher beef prices –
That may do little to help consumers, and hurt cattle ranchers who are already dealing with a reduced home herd size brought on by all of the drought.
Argentina’s beef cattle program will hurt American ranchers. It won’t help you, either.
On Oct. 20, 2025, the National Cattlemen Association responds to comments from President Donald Trump who suggested importing beef from Argentina could be a solution to low beef prices. “This plan creates turmoil at a critical time of the year for American cattle producers, when they are doing nothing to lower prices at the grocery store,” said Ceo CEO Colin Woodlall. “Argentina also has a history of foot and mouth disease, which is not done in the United States, it can determine domestic livestock production.”
CETLEMEMEMMEMEMEMEMEN ‘BEEF ASS ASSOASTION COLIN COLONLINA PROP ARG-ARDENTINA PROP CONFIRMED: “This plan only creates a cattle riot.”
I usually put anything involving disease and the mouth in the “bad” category.
Idea: Lying, the GOP creates its own reality. Which one do you prefer to live in?
Kyle Hemmert, a 61-year-old cattle rancher in Western Kansas, put it bluntly when he told the New York Times: “It’s just a signal from the President, this is an ‘America first’ policy? No.”
Cattle ranchers, like Soy farmers, see Trump for who he is
You are right. Trump has already angered the US Soya farmers by Peaping in Argentina to Argentina which was $ 20 billion, only to see soybeans in China, usually sold to the main buyers of American Soybeans.
“The frustration is staggering,” American Soybean Association president Caleb Ragland said in a statement. “US Soybean prices are falling, harvesting is underway, and farmers are reading trade headlines about China shipping to China while that country is releasing Shipleans to Argentina for treatment in China in just two days.”
Idea: Farmers are fighting under Trump’s tariffs. But he has a plan… to save Argentina.
Well, now it’s bad news for Vegans and Carnivores.
There are ways to help ranchers. The Argentine Bailout is not one of them.
Private cattle ranchers are reduced in part because only meat processing and packing companies account for more than 80% of the country’s meat.

Beyond those fields, ranchers face many other issues. As Bloomberg recently reported:
“Cattlemen above all want to see a return to the forced allelic country of origin to promote high quality American beef. They want more detailed herds (countrywide beef is at a 75-year low in sales.”
Trump insults cattle with snide Media Post
But Trump, as always, thinks he has all the answers. And as the rancher’s anger grew, the President responded by firing off the social media:
“The cattle ranchers, whom I love, do not understand that the only reason, if only I get the money that is available in the United States, because it is appropriate for them to do that, because the buyers have gone down a lot, because the buyer is the worst factor in my thinking, too!”
Talk about a kick in the nuts.
Idea: The US Soybean crisis is a man-made disaster caused by the ‘trumpet’. And farmers know it.
A complete betrayal of the American rancher
Because Trump eats a lot of hamburgers, he thinks he knows better than the hard-working ranchers who keep Americans fed. As the US Department of Agriculture noted on its website in May: “Cattle production is the largest US agricultural industry, accounting for $515 million in total agricultural receipts.
Wyomia’s Meriewmera’s farms wrote about the situation in X in a viral post, calling Trump’s plan to buy beef from Argentina “
The post read in part: “Above all this – there is only chaos from the Ministry of Agriculture. No real leadership, mixed messages, and a lot of photo ops.”
Sadly, America’s farmers – the largest pro-trump voting bloc – are learning what people like me have been shouting for years: Donald Trump cares about no one but himself, and he’ll sell people out in a second.
Farmers and cattle rustlers, like many others, connect Trump
President Donald Trump welcomed the President of Argentina, Javier Milei, to the White House in Washington, DC, OC. 14, 2025.
Trump sees himself in the President of Argentina. He wants to strengthen other suitable leaders because it helps him and his approved dreams. He doesn’t care one bit about what Americans pay for beef or how his actions might affect the farmers who loyally support him. He cares about Trump.
If he wants to buy beef from other countries that will hurt our cattle and do nothing to help us consumers, he will. Your complaints, your anger, your words of betrayal mean nothing.
Farming is hard work, and I respect and appreciate the people who make it their life. I want to see them prosper, just as I want affordable meat for myself and other consumers.
But I hope the buyers and sellers who have stood behind trump all these years and now suffer realize that they have been lied to by a Conman. Insipina policy, First Argentina policy is just another part of the upcoming payment.
