The Israeli military said it carried out airstrikes in the Gaza Strip of Rafah

2 killed in northern Gaza Airstrike

Local health authorities in Gaza said on Sunday that two Palestinians were killed in an Israeli airstrike in the East Jabalalia area of ​​northern Gaza.

The Times of Israel reported that the military conducted airstrikes in the Rafah area after being attacked by forces that attacked there, although it did not specify the source of the information.

An Israeli military official said on Sunday that Hamas attacked Israeli military forces inside Gaza, including rocket attacks and sniper attacks against Israeli soldiers.

“Both of these incidents took place in Israeli-controlled territory…. This is a brazen violation of the ceasefire,” the official said.

Hamas Official Izzat Al-Risheq said on Sunday that the Palestinian militant group remained committed to the ceasefire, accusing Israel of repeated violations.

Neither Al-Risheq nor any Israeli military officer reported on any of the Sunday strikes reported by Israel in Gaza.

The government press office in Gaza said on Saturday that Israel had committed 47 violations after the end of the withdrawal, leaving 38 dead.

“These violations included the direct shooting of Centian, the deliberate involvement and manipulation of activities, and the arrest of several civilians,” the statement said.
